Char B1 Heavy Tank

The Char B1, a French heavy tank, was produced before World War II. Initially designed as a self-propelled gun with a 75 mm howitzer, it later added a 47 mm turret gun, enabling it to also serve as a 'battle tank'. Delays in development and production led to a complex, expensive, and outdated vehicle by the time mass production of the Char B1 'bis' began. Only two prototypes of the Char B1 'ter' were built. Despite its powerful armament and armour, its slow speed and high fuel consumption made it unsuitable for the mobile warfare of 1940. Captured Char B1s were used by Germany post-French defeat, some rebuilt as flamethrowers or artillery. This is a 3D printed board game miniature piece, suitable for games like Battle of France 1940 or Axis and Allies, and arrives unpainted with some assembly required.
